Hi, I've got a number of these System Pref errors while using the Printer pane of System Prefs with VO. From what I recall, this is an issue between VO and System Prefs, not anything you're doing wrong. Sometimes you can work around these things by turning off VO prior to doing some activities within the System Prefs and clicking your mouse or trackpad the sighted user way. If you have access to sighted assistance, you may wish to have them help with this task for now. I imagine it will be fixed soon as it was never an issue in the past but somehow cropped up in Mavericks, maybe even late in Mountain Lion.
