One thing I often notice is folks not filling out the "Reason" field or
saying anything at all in the join request email. So I don't know if
they are just spam or real users. In either case I personally email them
asking for just a brief bit about how they found the list or the like.
If I get anything back that isn't just spam I add them. I probably have
five requests a month where I get no response and after 30 days waiting
I delete their join request. Maybe your brother asked to join, left
everything blank and never responded to my email. Anyway, if you still
know of somebody who can't seem to get in and still wants to join,
please pass their address along and I'll send them an invite.
