The thing of it is, when I get an e-mail with an attachment, I cannot get access to the attachment exept by opening the file menu and clicking on "save attachment". Then I save it. seriously, that's the only way I found that works for me under Mavricks. I use the so-called normal view. any suggestions for settings I might consider adjusting?
