Hi,

You are only searching within the current window. Please go to the Edit menu in 
Mail, then look for the Find sub menu, then explore your options there. What 
you probably want is the mailbox full search, not just the find command for the 
current message or window. I believe the shortcut is command option f.

Also, remember that smart mailboxes are good for recurring searches as well and 
update automatically--or will when the bugs are worked out.
