I also use V9 instead of V10, which I couldn't really make work for me. I could 
record a video clip with the FaceTime camera, but I couldn't figure out the how 
and where of inserting it into a project the way I could in V9. 
I'm wondering if V9 will still be available in the upcoming yosemite OS
