I'm a little late weighing in on this, but I have a MacBook air that I rarely use. I use it about twice a week to download things that I can't really download to my iPhone or iPad. Other than that, I've gotten very used to using my iPhone and iPod as my main devices for everything. I find that there are fewer and fewer things that I need a computer for. As cloud services improve as they undoubtably will, I expect that there will come a day when I don't use my MacBook air for anything.
