Yes I am still working my way thru the transition from Windows to
Mac. Actually I was looking at what changes I wanted to make to my email
before I went too far.
I created an iCloud account then an alias this weeeknd. I had the
primary email address set up in Thunderbird Windows. I am not going to
use that email address tho (as per suggestions made on the list), so
made the alias. Before I work on this on the Mac, I wanted to set the
alias up in Thunderbird. Because the alias is tied to the icloud
account, I cannot have both the primary and alias setup. Correct? It may
not matter but want to make sure. Then I can start cleaning up emails
and once the Mac side is done, I will be good to go.
