I have a macBook Pro and vmware fusion and win 8. Today when I launched fusion and it asked for my password, it would not take it.
It reads "star" when I type in each letter of the password so I would think the field is activated. But once I select "ok" then it rejects it saying incorrect password, then tells me there are windows updates and where to go to install them. I am quite certain I have the right password and that my caps lock key is off. I haven't been able to think of how to solve this. Any help?
