It's for those programming on the Mac. If you are not a developer, you can 
safely ignore this message. The function essentially forces VO to speak a 
string, which is something that I've been looking for for quite a while. This 
way, apps can use VO directly instead of using a speech synthesizer. Very 
handy, but again, only useful to developers.
