The clean install method doesn't work either.  I have 3 people that I have 
tried to help on Skype with this issue, and the clean install was the last 
option. WE did it and no go, still the same issues.  Funny thing though, when 
they created a new gmail, everything worked fine.  Who knows, maybe they will 
fix it in the next OS.  I would switch to iCloud, but its not the easiest thing 
to do when they don't make filtering mail an easy process.
Frustrated with your Mac, I-device, or AppleTV?  New user and want quick
