I wouldn't think ClamAV could scan your email in any useful way anyway.  It's 
stored by your ISP, so they should be the one scanning for you.  Should they 
not be doing this, but you are using POP3, then you could try scanning your 
Library folder, which would contain your email data, although I'd caution 
against doing this while Mail was running.  It all seems very fragile to me.
