Most you just move to the trash but if you want to go deeper then search
for and check out the free Appcleaner and the shareware Clean My Mac 2,
both of these are not in the Mac App Store.

must do more than this to really uninstall it.
I'll be honest, my fear of uninstalling incompletely or incorrectly comes
from my many years of working with Windows which, as many of you may know,
can turn ugly with just the click of a mouse. In years gone by, if one
didn't uninstall something correctly, it could cause major startup problems.
While I'm certain this is not the case in OSX, some fears are difficult to
dispel.
