Planner...Calendar...Organizer & MacBook PRO (i.e., Mac OSX & VO)

Can anyone recommend a useful way to SetUp a 
Calendar-Planner-Organizer using a MacBook PRO? If so, what 
programs-applications are easily accessed for a Totally Blind user, 
who is fairly new to the Mac OSX & VoiceOver (VO)? Any information is 
greatly appreciated!
