Allison, Once you have your spreadsheet open, navigate to the layout area and interact with it. You should hear something like Table. You need to interact with the table again. Then use either tab key or vo+arrow keys to go round your spreadsheet. I find that when I want to enter new data,, navigating with the tab key is more reliable.
Stop interacting with the table and again stop interacting with the layout area in porder to move left to the area where you can format various aspects of your spreadsheet. When you vo+left arrow from the layout area to the left you will hear Formatter. Interact with it and you will be able to vo+arrow keys through various formatting options. You have to vo+space on the one you want to format in oder to reveal various options Once you are done, stop interacting with the formatter. hope this will start you off.
