Hi,

Find your file menu in iTunes, and you can either make smart  
playlists, which are playlist that will update automatically depending  
on certain criteria such as year, artist, and album or simply make a  
playlist that keeps track of different things, though you will have to  
add files to it manually.

As for switching libraries, you simply go to the sources table and  
arrow down until you have found the desired library.
