Now for some smaller

questions.

In Mail (Mountain Lion) is it

possible to simplify things and

get rid of Smart Folders? Or

at least have a setup like that

used in Thunderbird where I

only see my mail accounts in

the left pane, open one and

only see the associated

mailboxes. I am not using a

unified mailboxes there.

   Also in Thunderbird it has

Local Folders to which emails

can be moved to be stored on

the local drive. If Mail uses

that concept, does it have a

similar name?

   Is Preview the archiving

utility? Is it all one needs or is

a 3rd party app like The

Unarchiver needed?

I have Voiceover set to my

liking but when system related

information is spoken, its I

think using default settings.

Can this be changed?

   Currently I use iTunes in

Windows to backup my iPhone.

How should I transfer this task

over to the Mac?

This is it for now, I hope. Thanks.
