Hi all, Again, excuse cross-post, but want to provide info to both lists in case anyone needs it.
I called tech support again this morning, and finally got someone who knew what they were doing. I don't understand why, but I was never able to re-download books from within the iBooks app, I had to do it by going into iTunes, iTunes store, and using the download all button. That got all books back onto my computer. We then went over to my phone, and the books then showed up on my phone. I'm still a little unclear about what the issue was. When I first went into iBooks on the phone, PDFs was selected, but that had not been the case before--I'm sure of this, because I tried selecting and unselecting it when I was working on this yesterday and nothing changed, I'm as suing I'd just left it selected after one of the many things I tried before.. But this time when I selected all books, my books were displayed properly. So I'm assuming that re-downloading in iTunes did something, but I don't really know what. So, I know they're not conclusive steps, and I wish I had more definitive advice to offer, but I would say that if you encounter this problem, try re-downloading through iTunes. then see if that makes them show up on the phone.
