Hi Jenine, This is the first time I have had a chance to respond. Thanks for your post. The digital LCD readout would be stationary, so I wouldn't think I would need real time readouts. It's a measuring device that gathers info on pinch strength. I am not sure what the contrast of the numbers to the background is, but it's worth inquiring. I know that LED readouts may have a better chance in reading the info with KNFB because of the yellow-greenish light it omits. For me, using Talking Goggles is a hit and miss and I have to wait for a response for a few seconds. It would be great if I could find something that would be more responsive, as I would be using the assessment equipment with a client. I'm not sure if TapTapSee would capture the information in less time, but I will test it out after I purchase some picture allotment.
I have used other apps to retrieve washing instructions on garments, so I was just wondering about it with the KNFB Reader. I'm going to have to wait a little longer until I purchase my iPhone6. I just want to have iOS settle out a bit and see if any of the bugs will be fixed in the next update, which should be sometime next month (just assuming that). Thanks.
