Listers, This is a bit of a technical question but I know that many on the list have a lot of knowledge on the hardware and software.
I have a mackbook air late 2010. It has a thunderbolt socket at the far corner of the right edge just beyond a usb socket. I have been considering purchasing a thunderbolt external storage device so I thought I'd go to the "about this mac' section and double-check. In the list of hardware elements thunderbolt is mentioned but when I actually look across into the column where the details should be, Voiceover reports that no thunderbolt hardware was found. Does this mean that I actually do not have thunderbolt connectivity? Or does that mean that no thunderbolt external device is connected to the port? Thanks for any comments.
