I too stopped using the source list a while ago, however it's still a shame it's gone as not everyone has such a good memory for shortcuts.

I stopped using the Sidebar right after it was no longer the default in iTunes. Using keyboard shortcuts, I find it even quicker then with the Sidebar anyway. Later. The command that used to make it appear no longer works. Try pressing VO-Space on the More button and you'll find some of the things you had in Sources. I find I have to bring the mouse and do VO-Shift-Space to select an option after clicking the More button.
