Well, I have no idea why, but it's gone! lol.  I did change my trackpad 
settings according to Anne's directions, but it still didn't work a couple of 
times after that.  So, I have no clue why it finally worked, but thanks Anne 
and Tim, for the help.  Looking forward to a lot less VO jabber now.
