Hi, I have the Special Extended bundle which doesn’t appear to come with iTunes Extras. Things to note with iTunes Extras:
1. The new version of iTunes Extras is kind of embedded into the movie. so, the title will read “Lord of the Rings: the Fellowship of the Rings (PG) HD - iTunes Extras” or something similar. 2. The older versions of iTunes Extras came as a separate booklet. 3. The older versions of iTunes Extras are only viewable on your Mac, not on your Apple TV or iDevice. 4. To view new iTunes Extras content, if included in the Movie file purchase, you need to access the movie from the Cloud version, not the local version. When you open the Cloud version of the movie, it will prompt you whether you wish to watch the movie or the extras. So, on an Apple TV, instead of going under the Computers section, go under the Movies section and locate your purchased content. Select the movie and if iTunes Extras are available on that title, the choice will appear. Oddly enough, the 1st Generation Apple TV was able to view the booklet style of iTunes Extras but once the Apple TV became a streaming device only, this feature was no longer available. There were some workarounds that I found but they weren’t necessarily particularly practical, at least, not worth the effort in my opinion. Hope this makes sense.
