Hi all. I just discovered an odd behaviour with my MBP early 2011 running Yosemite. If I unplug my external speakers, I have no sound. I thought it was muted, but it wasn't. I went into system preferences, went to output and pressed downarrow one time, then uparrow, and got sound back. Did this when I unplug headphones as well. Is there a way for this not to occur? Thanks.
