Hi, As far as I can tell, the only option you have when manipulating backups, is either restoring from one or deleting the entire device’s backup. I’m not totally familiar with Apple’s backup process, but I’d venture to say that they are likely incremental style of backups. thus, it would be difficult to remove older backups manually without affecting things negatively. Your initial backup uses up a fair amount of space, but subsequent backups are usually quick and easy and use very little additional space unless you make big changes.
