I'm not aware of any other way to get the on screen keyboard back. It will
return if the input device such as a bluetooth keyboard becomes out of range,
is turned off, or you press the eject key. But if the device is being detected
and the on screen keyboard went away I think the device that caused that to
happen must send the signal to turn it back on.
If there is another way to get the on screen keyboard back, I'm also
interested in knowing it.
