The Reader button, if it appears, is the quickest way to go.

Subject: reading articles in Safari


I was reading an article from Google News earlier using Safari, and was 
wondering if there is a key I could press to get straight to the actual text 
of the article. For instance, I know if you run Window-Eyes on a Windows 
machine, you can press x to go directly to the main text of the article. I 
didn’t know if such a thing existed in VoiceOver. Thanks.
