If so,  you can easily correct this by going to fusion’s menu bar, control 
option M.
Open the virtual machine menu.
Open the usb menu.
press enter on the option which says connect usb printer port or words to that 
efect.  It will vary by make and model of cable most likely.

You’ll then here the standard windows found new hardware sound.
