Hi, To play with the scratching, you have to maximize the window and figure where the turntables are, just make sure that you are at a 5th of each horizontal limit, then use the pad to scratch. The trackpad features are listed in the manual or on the website, and you can refer to that for more functionality.
On another note, i have asked the developers to make the two turntables evident for vo users, hence accessible, but one problem is that for mixing you need to turn vo off, and use a combination of shortcut keys and the scratch method mentioned above. They have replied, but are apparently on it. Let's see what they come up with. In the meantime, i suggest yu stick to the trial if you have difficulty handling the scratch part.
