what are you installing on?
I just did this the other day but unless you have a fairly new macbook,
it will not boot off a usb stick.
if you look at the contents of the usb stick in finder, what's on it?
should contain 9 items I think. efi sources and some others.
I cheated and made the usb stick in windows but making it with bootcamp
from the iso should work as well.

Hi,
I used the iso image to put windows on my mac air. I had the iso
image in my documents folder and navigated to it when prompted for the
location of the image file by fusion. It worked fine here.
I realize you are using boot camp, but maybe doing something similar
would help you out.

Hi all,
I have a quick question for you all. I got through the password issue
thankfully. I am trying to install windows 7 on my macbook pro, but I
have no blank DVDs and so have burned the iso to a memory stick using
bootcamp. This all worked fine and the ISO is from a good source. But
seemingly, the MBP bootcamp assistant will not recognize that the
windows install is on the memory stick, not a CD, so it refuses to
let me get to the partitioning stage. It says installation disk not
found, and I cannot continue.
I have tried mounting the iso to try and fool it, but this will not
work using the open with option in the menus.
Can anyone suggest how to get around this?
Thanks,
Me
