Hey,

Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but my understanding is that Top Sites
and Favorites are two different things. Your top sites seem to be a list of
sites you frequent or have visited lately. Your favorites which you can assign
numbers to and quickly pull up by hitting command and the numbers 1 to 9. To
make a web page a favorite, bookmark it with command D, go to the drop down
menu and make sure to add the site to your favorites bar. In this drop menu you
can also assign the bookmark to your top sites. Now to edit what numbers pull
up a favorites site, go in to your bookmarks menu through the menu bar, select
edit bookmarks. This will pull up a window where you will interact with your
bookmarks table. You might have to toggle some folders open, but you want to
find your favorite bookmarks folder toggle it open with VO back slash. Once you
get it open the order of your bookmarks in this folder are your 1 to 9 favorite
keys. To edit the order all you need to do is copy and then paste in the order
you would like to use the number keys from 1 to 9. Hope this helps.
