Well, that got more than a good laugh this morning.  That describes it exactly.

There was some reason I didn’t book the ticket by phone but I can’t remember 
what it was.  Of course, any savings I might have had by using the web site was 
offset by the petrol cost and time wastage of going to the bus terminal to book 
the ticket.

I believe we did conclude that the whole thing is a strategy by Greyhound to 
make people pay the higher ticket cost by making the web site inoperable.
