How I do it is to create a playlist, put in the songs or whatever I want into it, then go to the playlist in the sources, then just to verifythings are in order will check the songs listed, then back out of that interaction and vo right arrow and there is a burn function. A dialog will come up giving you options as to format such as audio, or mp3, or data. Also near the button for burning, there is a place where it gives information about the playlist such as the total time it would take to play the whole list, kind of handy for the time factor of an audio cd. Although if there's to much for one disk it will tell you as a dialog after doing the inital burn set-up. In other words if it's going to take more than the disk you put into your machine, it will tell you that.
