Hi, I wonder if your Location Services are turned off for Weather and such things. Go into System Preferences, Security & Privacy, then select the Privacy tab. Select Location Services from the first table, and investigate what has asked for your location lately. You can modify things in this pane by first unlocking the pane with your Administrator password. Check that Location Services are enabled and verify that things like “weather” are checked.
