Alex, One more thing you may wish to do is to ensure that the Show iTunes in the Cloud Purchases checkbox is checked. This is found in the Store pane of your iTunes Preferences. Occasionally, the download option doesn’t automatically pop-up after purchasing something, thus, the purchase is available, just left up in the Cloud. When this box is checked, there is usually a download button available to the right of the book title when in iTunes in List view.
