An annoyance which I have not been able to get around in Apple Mail is the apparent lack of a page up or page down command with which to navigate within long messages.
This is particularly irksome in long text emails where the only option appears to be to navigate by a line or by jumping to the top or bottom of the message. Page down or up does not work. VO page down and page up does not work and produces a an error ding. Option page up or down does not work. Searching on Google revealed others frustrated by this as well and a suggestion that control page down may work but this does not work for me. I suspect that this is a lack of attention to proper keyboard support by Apple but thought I would check with others to see if there is any ideas for alternative strategies.
