To my knowledge, there's no official protocol. Just use what makes sense to 
you. Be warned, though, that the "company" field seems to be ignored by iOS 
devices when you try to type in a contact. I set Apple as the company in a 
contact and left the name fields blank, and I suddenly couldn't call or email 
them at all. So, you may want to put the list name in the first or last name, 
and set the company to "email list" or something. Just my thoughts - again, I 
don't think there is any kind of official standard here.
