Hi, you know, i have the exact same problem only not with Mail but with Safari and the applications using the html kit as renderer, at least that’s what i think. When i’m on Facebook with Current or on a safari page Voiceover will suddenly lose the voice for no apparent reason at all. Nothing i do brings it back and the only thing to do in that case is to simply reboot the computer. I’m beginning to think there’s some old preference file somewhere that causes the problem but i don’t want to dig into it in case i lose all my bookmarks, settings etc. /Krister
