Hi all, As some of you may remember, my employer has purchased an iMac for me. I am sorry to say it, but I've been incredibly disappointed in the iMac. I had expected it to perform better than my MBA, but the opposite seems to be the case. It boots very slowly, and voiceover cuts in and out after the boot process for a couple of minutes. the wireless connectivity also seems weaker than on my MBA. It also seems more sluggish overall - apps take longer to open, documents and websites take longer to load. Long and short, I'd never choose it over my MBA if it weren't my work computer. I'm wondering if anyone else has observed similar behavior? If so, any strategies for troubleshooting? I'm thinking of adding more memory, in the hope that that will speed up the boot time and get rid of VO dragging. Cheers, Donna
