Don’t know about Ableton Live, but…unfortunately…Main Stage is inaccessible, 
for the most part.  I know cause I purchased it to access it’s loops & sound 
fonts in Garage Band.  I’m not sure how you could use GB in a live environment. 
 Have you considered a dedicated looper like Digitech’s Jam Man?  You can add 
storage with smart cards.  You could add your backing tracks on your computer, 
order them as a play list on the card, & move through the list with a touch of 
your foot.  It’s typically a guitarist’s tool.
