Personally if I have text in multiple formats and sizes I find it much quicker to simply cut and paste it into TextEdit temporarily. In TextEdit press command shift T to force the copied text into plain text , removing all the various formatting attributes. Then you can, of course, just copy the result back to Mail.

Hi Donna,

You have to highlight each piece of text and use command + and command - to adjust it so that they are all the same size.

If you highlight the whole thing at once then all the fonts will simply adjust themselves in proportion to each other.

Hope this helps,

Thanks, Erik. I have an email that is composed of text cut and pasted from different sources. How do I change the font so that the whole message is one font?
thanks,

Yes, its control option t. The text doesn't have to be selected in order for this to work, but if text is selected, this will be reported.

Best,

Erik
