Hi, I'm baffled why it is I can't connect two very advanced devices via bluetooth. I understand that it should be possible. Also, I understand that in order to succeed in using the airdrop feature, bluetooth on both my iphone 5c and my macbook pro should be communicating, and maybe that's why I can't make airdrop work. Also, I don't seem to be able to forward text messages between my iphone 5c and my macbook pro via messaging feature with continuity enabled, and I was wondering whether bluetooth connectivity was crucial in these circumstances. I can forward text messages between my iphone 5c and my iPad mini but not to my mac. In fact, it doesn't even appear in the list of devices in text forwarding section of messages under settings/messages on my iphone whereas it used to appear there. I'm really quite astonished why it is that I used to be able to have this text message forwarding feature available and now it doesn't work.
