Its not a new command, its on the OS X keyboard shortcuts list.

From The Believer. . .
. . . what if it were true?

I appreciate this very much. I haven't seen that command on any
shortcut key list anywhere. Is there some more comprehensive place to
look into these types of keystrokes?

To enlarge on that for anybody who doesn't know - I didn't know until I
tried it and then looked it up - you do cmd-c to copy the file or files to
the clipboard. Then do cmd-option-v at the location where you want the
file(s) to move tfile(s) rather than just copy. I have learned my new thing
for today.

Hi:
Every list of keyboard shortcuts I've seen says you can use command X to
move a file, but it doesn't work when moving files from dropbox. I have to
copy them, paste, and then go back to delete them. I'd like to just move
them. But Command X is greyed out in the Edit menu. thoughts?
