First, Note the change in subject line. I think the original question
asker wants to set up Audio Hijack three to record streams off the web. But, I
just had a thought which is below.
Seems to me you could do the following.
1. Set up all your microphones and effects and inputs up as an Audio Hijack
session with all the compression and other stuff you want.
2. Have the final block in this session terminate at Sound Flower.
3. Now, tell Nicecast or what ever broadcast tool you use to grab it's input
from Sound Flower.
I reckon that should work since you can't gain access to the effects window
through Nicecast because that version of the efffects window is not accessible
with Voice OVer: however, it seems like Audio Hijack three could effectively
eliminate this issue. Heck, I think I even read where Audio Hijack three even
has a ducking feature for microphones which would make it perfect for live
broadcast streaming purposes. Now, this, coupled with Nicecast, would seem to
be a just about perfect comgination.
Sincerely,
The Constantly Barefooted Ray
