I recommend you set up a shortcut in the keyboard preferences to show the notification centre. To do this: 1. open system preferences, found either in the menu bar or on the doc. 2. Stop interacting with the toolbar. 3. Press VO right until you hear "preferences pains, scroll area" and interact with VO shift downarrow. 4. Go to keyboard, VO space, and stop interacting with VO shift up arrow. 5. VO right until you find the "shortcuts" tab and VO space. 6. VO right to the "shortcuts categories" table and interact with it. Find "Mission control" and stop interacting. 7. VO right to the "Mission control shortcuts" table, and interact. 8. It is easier to find the second column with VO right arrow, and VO downarrow until you find "Show/hide notification centre." 9. VO left, and press VO space to check the checkbox. You are now in an edit field where you can type in your desired command. For my notification centre shortcut, I use Command Option Shift N. Hope this was helpful
