For some reason three of your messages were held in dry dock because
Google thought they were spam. I have no idea why as there was nothing
spammy about them. So the delay was the time between when it flagged
them and when I happened to check in and mark them all as good.
Hopefully whatever they are doing is a learning algorithm so it won't
keep flagging your mail in the future. One was Feb 4th and the other two
were Feb 5th.

vanishing once I disabled those extra ones.

To my knowledge, all my accounts are set up with their correct SMTP
servers, and I've not gotten any errors or warnings when trying to
