I’m afraid I don’t understand what you mean. You have to turn the trackpad commander off to be able to use the trackpad the way a sighted person would use it. This is necessary for you to be able to drag the horizontal splitter to the bottom of the window. Using VO to drag the splitter down results in Mail being busy and does not work.
If you follow my original instructions carefully, it should work. Just in case your trackpad settings in System preferences could be causing trouble, here are the ones I have. • Point&Click: Tap to click unchecked checkbox, Secondary click unchecked checkbox, Look up unchecked checkbox, Three finger drag unchecked checkbox, Tracking speed 33.3%. • Scroll & Zoom: Scroll direction: natural checked checkbox, Zoom in or out checked checkbox, Smart zoom unchecked checkbox, Rotate checked checkbox. • More Gestures: Swipe between pages unchecked checkbox, Swipe between full-screen apps unchecked checkbox, Notification Center unchecked checkbox, Mission Control unchecked checkbox, App Exposé unchecked checkbox, Launchpad unchecked checkbox, Show Desktop unchecked checkbox.
