Hi, There was a thread a couple of days ago discussing this sort of thing, but with respect to iTunes. The concept is the same though, the tables in iTunes are similar to the tables within List view of a window. So, you can arrow up and down through these lists, expand with arrow keys and such, but, realize that when you’re just using arrow key navigation, you’re not always interacting with the table. So, if you want those commands to work every time, make sure that you’ve first interacted with the specific table, then you can either of the following:
• use FN-VO-shift-right arrow to move to the bottom of the table and FN-VO-shift-left to move to the top. or... • press option-down to move straight down to the last row and option-up to move straight up to the top row. Note the differences. Holding down the FN key when you press the right arrow changes the right arrow into the “end”, thus, FN-VO-shift-right moves you to the very end of the table. This will also move you to the last column in the table which may or may not be desirable. If you wish to quickly get back over to the first column, I usually just VO-up once then VO-right and it wraps around to the first column at the bottom of the window. Similarly done with FN-VO-shift-left. Now, when using the option-down, you are moved straight down to the bottom of the current column, and, of course, option-up moves straight up to the first row remaining in the same column. Hope this makes sense. Later... Tim Kilburn Fort McMurray, AB Canada On Feb 9, 2015, at 21:20, The Believer <[email protected]> wrote: I cannot seem to get a handle on navigating lists in List View.
