OK, I don't know if this could be done via a PList preference file, or something similar, but is there a way to increase the maximum volume of a particular voice in Voiceover?
Here are the more specifics. I've been using Alex, but honestly, I prefer Fred. Some of you all might totally disagree with me on that preference, but honestly, I couldn't care one lick less if you do! It's what I like, so get over it! Anyway, the only issue is, I find that even set to max volume in the Voiceover utility, Fred is a little bit quiet. Yes I know about the Vocalizer voices that are available. Can't stand 'em! Anyway, I know they're louder. Again, I say, can't stand 'em! So, my point is, with Fred... is there a PList file I could manually edit by hand or something similar which would let me either uncap, or at least! slightly raise the max limit on the volume? It's not like I'm gonna blow my speaker. I don't need it going up louder by much. Only by just a couple of notches. Just enough to bring him about to the same max volume as Alex.
