Hi, Ok first sorry for the long post! I’ve had bad luck with external hard drives. My 3.5 year old lacie 4tb thunderbolt is making strange noises. Figures, its 6 months out of warranty. So, I was considering getting a NAS drive. So here are my questions: 1 which brands do you guys recommend? 2 which brand is easiest to setup using VO on the mac? 3 some NAS drives advertize personal cloud functions. Is this important? 4 What capacity do you think I should get? I heard something a long time ago that for example an 8tb nas doesn’t have the full 8tb available. Thanks, Jeff
