This is what I've managed with sighted assistance. If you slide your finger above the title of the program you wish to play, voiceover doesn't say anything, but there is a picture. Place your finger in that sort of silent area, turn off voiceover and tap the screen. If you're lucky, the video will start. It's hit and miss.
